Classical Ballet

Classical training is regarded as the cornerstone of technique which can then be applied to all dance genres. We consider it important for all of our students to study classical ballet to give them the advanced skills required for all types of dance.

The students are prepared for examination in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus each year. These examinations take place at the studio in Term 3 of each year.

In addition the students are exposed to the Vaganova school of dance, a Russian based technique that encourages expressiveness in performance.
